What does a pig say?

In a rented apartment it can sometimes be difficult to add your own style.
Hanging my own artwork around our little condo sure does help.
And how about a Gallery Wall?  Well, that's even better!



I started with the bottom row, then kept on adding above it.
Here, we proudly display our hard earned diplomas, family photos, and a few special moments...
Like my first solo art show. I can't believe that was 4 years ago!
This photo was taken by the local newspaper and my very thoughtful Mother-in-Law ordered a copy of it for me.




A gallery wall is also a perfect place to display cherished Wedding day memories.




An abstract charcoal drawing from my collage days {I even made the frame} has a home here...
and, of course, a few starfish have found their way there too.




The most important thing when assembling a gallery wall is to choose things that inspire you.




What inspires me the most these days?  My son, Oliver.
Today he learned to snort like a pig.

  1. I love your gallery wall! We rent too and to 'cover up' some awful wallpaper in the hallway I created one of these! But I love your ideas of adding the starfish and the inspire sign! :)

  3. wow..That wall looks amazing with all the memories and beautiful drawings!!! I love the green bottles in the first pic ..also little detail like the letters'inspire' and the starfish!!!
